Funny Friday Photos: Friendly Sharks

Happy Friday!

It finally happened. Only a week late, and we finally closed on our new house. But, as of three o'clock today, it's all over, and time to put stuff away and move on to new experiences.

Yesterday I saw a cardinal in my neighbor's yard, two beautiful royal blue swallows in my back yard, and bunnies on every corner. The fireflies are magical--I've never lived where there are fireflies before. So my concerns about missing my yard don't seem so large now. And, while I haven't actually slept in our new house, I am enjoying staying with my mom and being five to ten minutes away from everything.

I searched the internet over and found these few (but funny!) photos.

The one downside to our new house - we keep finding HUMONGOUS wolf spiders in the basement.

Happy Friday, one and all!

I missed my Mindfulness Monday post. I didn't realize until Tuesday that it was supposed to be this week. I even had a post idea, but I guess it'll keep until next time.

By the way, I will be (should be, fingers crossed all goes smoothly) closing on houses at the end of next week, and won't be able to write a post for next Friday. I am so excited that in a week I'll be done with the packing, can start the unpacking, and will be with my family again. It feels like I've been in the process of moving for forever.

I have a correction from last week's post, thanks to David Walker, who correctly pointed out it was not a square root, but a cubed root, in the pun section. Math is not my strongest subject, although I love science.

Funny Friday Photos: What Does a Square-Root Look Like?

Happy Friday!

The good news in my life is that my house is sold! Yay!

It sold in two days. Crazy. Now I'm holding my breath that everything goes according to plan and we close when we're supposed to.

The bad news is that we're supposed to close in two weeks, which means I'm back to not being able to write, because I've got to get the rest of our house moved to my new town.

As of tomorrow at 3:45 p.m., I will be officially unemployed for the first time since I was, like, fifteen. The future is wide open...and a little scary.
