Funny Friday Photos: Shaking Things Up

We've done it again. Here's another Friday, just for us!

I was dismayed last Friday with the death of Leonard Nimoy. Some of you may remember that Spock was my first love when I was four years old, and he's always been kind of special to me. I was so smitten I even drew pictures of him (I think my mom still has one.) So, the first photo of the day is dedicated to the amazing and talented man who gave Spock his Spockiness and who has moved on to whatever comes next in the journey of life.

I've notice that I tend to be a little OCD with the order of the pictures. Maybe you haven't noticed, but it goes "animals, geeky, science, puns." I'm going to try moving the geeky/science into the animals and see if my anal retentiveness can take it. If I upset your balance by switching it up, I'm sorry and take some deep breaths. You'll be fine. And so will I... Right?

Did you get in on the whole dress thing? I saw it late, of course. I'm glad I did, though. It's an amazing tool to use with my groups at school when teaching about perspective and respecting other people's ideas and points of view. Because who knows what their reality is! Even first graders get the point with the dress as a prop.

Funny Friday Photos

It's Friday, the weekend is upon us, and Thor 2 is in theatres. Life is good. It's true, it doesn't take much to make me happy. At least, not this weekend!

Um, I seriously can't think of anything funny or interesting to say, so I'm going to move on to the photos.

It took me a while to see the rabbit, but when I did... Definitely messed with my head.

My favorite photo is the Loki bear. I can't tell you why, but I just laugh, so it gets my vote. Maybe it's because I'm so psyched about the movie.

Funny Friday Photos - Eclectic Version

Hello and happy Friday! Another week slipped by and here's the weekend. I swear it was just Monday. I'm not complaining, though.

The good news - I seem to be finally throwing off my lethargy for writing. I've been working on Adven 2, and adding to the word count over there in the right sidebar. It's actually closer to 12,000 words now. I may finally be ready to be a writer again, instead of a neurotic basket case. Okay, okay. I'll be a writing neurotic basket case... Kidding!

This week there were surprisingly few animal pictures, so I trolled around all kinds of pictures and came up with the following. I think they're funny, so I hope you do to! Have a great weekend!
