The good news? Yes, yes it is. And there is no one happier than me. I even had Monday off, and I'm still ready for the weekend.
I'm excited to see if having Finding Meara featured in The Fussy Librarian's mailer works any magic. Hopefully, there will be a lot of people who say this:
Have you signed up yet? I've been getting the mailings all week long and they have some really great books and deals highlighted. Here is a link if you're interested in signing up.
Last week's funniest photo is:
And here is this week's photos!
This week we get a bunch of puns!
I think my favorite this week is the cat door. I love the cat's expression.
Can you tell I'm tired? I'm sorry if this post seems rushed, but I fell asleep again while getting this post done. I'm starting to worry what I'm going to be like in another ten years. I won't be able to stay up past seven o'clock.

Do you have a favorite this week? Have a great weekend!
I'm going with "You're late!"
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joe! It's a cute one, and that all of them look the same is hilarious.
DeleteI can relate to the cat door one, though at least that cat up there has a huge cat door! My two have had to get used to a tiny cat door that's basically as round as their bodies. They didn't like it at all, but after a few shoves through the door by mummy they're more used to it :)
ReplyDeleteLove the black & white "cow" cat hiding. And the tiny box one. But the one that made me laugh out loud was the hippo computer screen. ;)
We had a doggie door that was HUGE! It wasted so much electricity, we ended up getting a new door - sans one for the doggies. They have to wait for us to let them in and out, now. Thanks for commenting, Trisha! I hope all is well with you!
DeleteI like the cat door one too. That expression is pretty awesome...like she's watching a horrible crime in progress--maybe the dog is eating her dinner while she's trapped outside, too baffled by the cat door?
ReplyDeleteYes, I bet that's it! That's exactly her expression! She looks so betrayed!
DeleteI like the cat hiding one best. That's what kids are like when they're younger. My daughter (age 6) still hasn't figured out the don't answer mom when she call while playing hide and seek thing. When she calls for me, I stay silent, unless she's far enough she can't tell where I am. I'm so mean. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's like my mom letting my sister call the plural of clothes "clo." Until she was 12. She just thought it was so cute, she didn't want her to stop. Besides, you're teaching by example when you don't answer unless she can't pinpont where you're at. Enjoy those cute moments every chance you get, I say!
DeleteCat door is funny. I'm babysitting my daughters new kitten and that is definitely the "I'm one lost kitty" look.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so tragic, doesn't it?
DeleteWhat my cat thinks he looks like when he's hiding ... Though you're late is close.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I was just thinking about nightmares I've had where I'm trying to hide from whatever is chasing me, and it's totally like the hiding cat. Too funny!
DeleteHippo screensaver.
ReplyDeleteDuly noted! (Is that how you spell "duly?" It looks weird.)
DeleteThe cat box made me giggle. But, I have to go with the hippos.
ReplyDeleteI had to look at the hippos a couple of times before I figured it out, but then I laughed hard. :)
DeleteI like the dogs at the door, "You're late!" :) Hey, you're doing great staying up until 7 or 8, on Friday on frequently fall asleep on the couch at 4. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness. Now I don't feel so bad. If my boys would let me, I'd crash as soon as we got home. Instead, I'm just cranky until they go to bed, when I go to bed! I'm trying hard to keep my crankiness under control, but some days... :P
DeleteSo cute. The "respect me in the morning" was too cute.
ReplyDeleteThe cat totally looks like it's caught. I do wonder what prompted the perceived cross-animal love fest.
Deletehilarious! my fav is the hippo computer one! loved also the food never (again) from earlier this week! thought i'd check it our from the bloghop! newest follower, hi!
ReplyDeleteHI, Tammy! Thanks for visiting, commenting and following! I took a risk with the food post, so I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have not had a chance to actually "hop" until this weekend, so yours will be the first I go to!
DeleteThese were all great--the dogs at the door, cat door, but the 'hiding' cat was my fave b/c Kitt totally thinks this. :D Love your funny photos each week, Lara.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Denise! Your comments are always so appreciated, too!
DeleteMy fave: You're late - omg! laughing!
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for visiting this week! I'm glad you found a photo that tickled your funny bone!
DeleteSorry I'm late getting here... Hubby's with me and we like the chimp/weekend best. If that's not a choice, I like the cat door one. Good luck with the Library circular for Finding Meara! I hope it gets you as noticed as you deserve. So sorry I'm befogged and distracted. I just have too much critting and letter writing to do this week and my reveal is on Friday. I just can't get it together...
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've got a lot going on! Congratulations on the cover reveal! I can't wait to see it. I wish I would have known and I would have featured it here!
