Yay for Friday! I have to admit, it's been a quick, irritating week. Another plus - the election is over. I love not having political hate posts all over Facebook.
I've been trying to get a new plot going for the second book of Finding Meara (although it's not going to be called that) and I keep falling asleep when I put the children to bed. When I wake up, my head is fuzzy and working on anything is a ridiculous thought. So, writing wise, this week has been rather a bust. I'm hoping to get some mojo going this weekend. I better get some mojo going this weekend!
The winner of last weeks photos is:
Here's this weeks photos! I brought over a few from Pyzam this week, just for a little variety.
I just shake my head and wonder... |
Evil koala is very scary! |
Funny only because I've thought it looks like bacon before. |
What can I say... I like sad kitty pictures. |
The perspective on this picture makes me very happy we're bigger than birds. |
In honor of The Christmas Story, one of the best Christmas movies ever. |
It's very hard to pick my favorite this week. I think I have to go with the scary koala. Every time I look at that last picture I laugh and am very glad I'm not the one taking the picture. Do you think the photographer got away before damage occurred?
How was your week? Which picture is your favorite?
The scary koala is great. I always loved koala bears growing up. It was my favorite stuffed animal and I always wanted one. Never seen one in real life though.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Koala's could look like that. I guess everything can look evil if it's mad enough.
DeleteThey all make me laugh, but, yeah, the koala is pretty hilarious. He looks like Bilbo in LOTR when he sees his "precious" ring around Frodo's neck. :P
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right, but don't you mean Gollum? Maybe I missed a part. I haven't seen LOTR in so long. My first thought was of Gremlins where they became evil.
DeleteHA! I don't think I can't pick a favorite either. That koala one is very freaky! I hope the photographer had a really good zoom and was nowhere close. The first one... avon ... just makes me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Avon one last week, too. I still wonder what exactly that is.
DeleteThat wet koala sort of freaks me out. Press button, receive bacon - I never thought of that before! Angry birds is a good one - that's my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe persepective is as if our sizes were switched. I wouldn't want to be underneath those pigeons, for sure.
DeleteLove the Avon lady one! I'm in plotting mode, too...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with plotting!
DeleteLoved the fire doors. Reminds me of the time I was driving on a Dallas freeway with two lanes going my direction. I came to a sign the said left lane closed ahead. A moment later a sign said right lane closed ahead. Huh?
ReplyDeleteAnd that is exactly why I hate construction. I seriously become anxious because the directions are usually muddled. :)
DeleteHmmm...bacon might actually do a better job drying my hands. That lukewarm blast of air only seems to redistribute the water droplets across my hands, then cuts off way too early.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to go with tongue kitty because kitty :)
Yeah - tongue kitty was my other favorite. :)
DeleteHave you used a Dyson Air Blade hand dryer? They're amazing!
I actually have used those before and they are pretty good. Sadly I don't see them around too much though.
DeleteI had a little rant about those hand-drying machines recently on my blog. ;) I like the sad kitty. I have a story where an evil cat is living all his nine lives - not at once obviously but he keeps dying & being reborn. and there are good kitties in the book too :P
ReplyDeleteYour story sounds really interesting. Is the evil cat the protagonist? That would make for a unique story, with the evil character the good guy and so the good characters would be the bad guys. Hmmm....
