Yes, yes it is!! (Thank goodness.)
What a week.
Some days I can't imagine not being a social worker, and other days I wish I'd sell a gazillion books so I could stay at home and write. Of course, that means I'd have to actually market Finding Meara, which means yet another thing to squash into each day or week.
And I've figured out optimism makes me think I can do everything and write a thousand words a day, too. I think I'm going to stop sharing hopes and goals for word count because it feels icky to keep failing at it. If you're waiting for book two, just know I'm doing my best to get it finished, I promise.
Last week's funniest photo was a three-way tie, so I guess we should just move on...
Sassy cheerleader dog. |
I think there are no bones left inside the cat. |
I'm sad to admit this is what happens to zucchini in my refrigerator. |
I haven't used this before, have I? |
A very earnest sheep. |
I'm afraid this is what winter is going to be like. |
Puns!
I think I have a thing for Sesame Street. |
Totally what bitter coffee would sound like. |
All righty! I hope we all have a relaxing and happy weekend. I'm sure we all deserve it.
My favorite is the refrigerator experiment, followed up by the horrified mixer.
What's your favorite?
That mixer one really made me laugh. Something so normal, a piece of equipment from a kitchen, and yet it appears to show feelings. But you know, mixers can be dangerous. Don't stick a finger in there when it's mixing. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Maybe the one in the picture took someone's finger off! Now it'll be seeking human blood like in Stephan King's "The Mangler"!
DeleteLOL. I gotta go with the expression on that cat's face freezing his you-know-whats off as my favorite. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGetting ready for winter! I hope your weekend was great. :)
DeleteThe kittens in the 2nd photo look like stuffed animals, they can't be real!! lol
ReplyDeleteI know! I just want to touch them. I've never seen any not in photos, though.
DeleteMy favorite is the sassy poodle but the tangled cat reminded me of an unfortunate incident involving my old lady cat and my knitting.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to remember to ask you about that. I'm sure it's hilarious!
DeleteThe Sesame Street one actually cracked me up. I'm not sure what that says about me--that Bert and Ernie make me laugh still!
ReplyDeleteI prefer to think it means we're young at heart. :)
DeleteHa, I love those cats! Hilarious. Especially love the poor Halloween wrap cat. How do people manage to get photos like that? Too crazy. Hope your weekend is fantastic Lara and you get to either write loads of market Meera. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Veronica! And I have no idea how people get such photos. They are just really lucky, I guess...
