Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful week. I seriously enjoyed getting to play full-time writer during my spring break. Maybe someday...
The good news for today is sometime this weekend, Finding Meara will be available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, i-tunes and Kobo. Yay! I uploaded the file to Draft2Digital yesterday, and now am just waiting for it to show up on the various websites. I'm optimistic it will show up on Amazon today, but the others may take some time.
UPDATE: Finding Meara made it onto Amazon! If you would like a copy, click here! And if you enjoy the story, it would be lovely if you would leave a short review! Thanks to you all!

Can I just say, the most amazing thing was seeing the story in e-book format. I'm strangely lacking in celebration emotions, but it was pretty amazing to look at the story in the different e-book formats.
The bad news is that, because of Draft2Digital's contracts with Amazon and Barnes and Noble (I imagine this is the reason), the lowest price I can sell the book for on those sites is .99 cents. I had intended that it be free this weekend, so I apologize for the misinformation. My pricing for the next couple of weeks is going to be all crazy, as I figure it all out.
And now, it's time for the photos! I can't give you a winner from last week, because several each got two votes. So, we'll just get on with the new photos!
I can't remember if I already used this one, so I apologize if it's a repeat! |
And some puns...
Crop Circle |
My favorite is amoosing moose. It's face is priceless! The cat with the fur is my second favorite.
Which is your favorite? Do you have any big plans for Easter?
Congrats on the book. I'm watching for it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jamie! That's so kind of you!
DeleteAll good, I gotta go for the Ninja Turtles!
ReplyDeleteThe Ninja Turtles came out when I was a teenager, and I loved them! The photo cracked me up!
DeleteCongratulations! The turtles are in for it, I just know it! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! And, I agree, things don't look too good for the turtles!
DeleteCongrats on getting your book pubbed on all those sites!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how to choose between such adorable and funny pics, but I gotta love Turtle Power vs the Evil Croc! :-)
Thanks, Lexa! Turtles are winning!
DeleteLiving in Alaska and being well aware of what moose can do, I'd head for cover if I met that moose.
ReplyDeleteI know! I think that's why the "grin" looks so funny to me. We have moose in the mountains around where I live, and I have a very healthy respect for how mean they are! And black bears, and mountain lions, too!
DeleteCongratulations! I grabbed a copy. I can't wait to sit down and read through it! I vote for the web designers. I want to be one...
ReplyDeleteSeeing the work you've been doing, I think you're well on your way to being a web designer! I'll have to hire you, when you get un-busy!
DeleteAlthough I've already congratulated on Facebook, I'll congratulate you here too. Congrats! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd that's enough cat fur in that one picture to make a whole other cat--hopefully a less grumpy one ;)
Thank you, Mike! I thought that was an awful lot of hair for one cat, too!
DeleteI think 99cents is a great deal. So happy for you.
ReplyDeleteI like the Easter bunny/weed one. Made me chuckle.
Have a good Easter!
Thanks, Suzi! We did have a nice Easter. :)
DeleteCongrats, Lara. I intend to buy it as soon as I can find the nook version. And I think the crop circle is probably my favorite.
ReplyDeleteIf you'll email me all the links, I'll blog about Finding Meara in my Friday blog.
Thank you, and I'd love to send you the links, but I have no idea who you are! You only showed up as anonymous.
