Between sick kids and lagging motivation, this week has not been terribly productive. Yes, it's true. I've been a writing slug. Come to think of it, I've kind of just been a slug, period. Nothing to do now except to get back to business, I suppose!
I didn't get a chance to try out the one-hour plot method, but as soon as I do I'll share how I thought it worked.
With three posts, next week is going to be a busy blogging week. Tuesday I will be posting for Briane Pagel's Blog-O-Thon of Doom and plan to share the cover for Finding Meara, too. I've been tagged twice for The Next Big Thing (by former Life List Club founder Marcia Richards and writing friend Cindy Keen Reynders) and will run that Wednesday. Finally, Friday will be funny photo day!
The winner of last week's photos was:
And now on to the new ones!
This goat reminds me of some actor, I just can't think of who. Anyone have any ideas?
And the moment you get close to the fence he goes all Cujo on you!
I didn't notice it's tongue is sticking out!
That makes it much more funny!
Do you think they know how to "smize", too?
I guess we know who is the better driver!
And finally, player dog tries again.
The dog in the car won for me, hands down. I haven't laughed that hard at a photo in a while! I hope you all have a fun, relaxing weekend!
Any photo make you laugh more than the others?
Do you have any exciting weekend plans?
The drug one and the dog in car are my faves.ReplyDelete
My husband comes home after being gone for work all week. And Sunday we have my daughter's dance recital and son's hockey game. Luckily nothing is going on Saturday, that'll be rest day! :)
Have a fun Sunday! I hope your Saturday gave you all the rest you needed! And yay for your husband coming home. I hate when mine is gone.Delete
Okay, player dog is starting to gain a little momentum, but I gotta go with the messy sneeze. LOL.ReplyDelete
And I must know about this one hour plotting. I'm so stuck at the moment for what to do next. Will be spending the day plotting out this next chapter. Gah, it's not going too well.
The book is called The Busy Writer's One Hour Plot by Marg McAlister. It is short to read, and gives a nice structure to getting a basic plot structure set out in an hour. I wanted to use the techniques for getting a map for book 2, but just haven't had the time. She also has one hour revisions and one hour character. I haven't bought those yet, though.Delete
Yes, the dog in the car is hilarious! He gets my vote!!!ReplyDelete
And I'm pretty much a no-hour plot method, because I'll just sit and write whatever pops out, then edit it later. :)
I would love to know what it's like to be a pantser. I think I'm just too anal-retentive!Delete
Dog in car!ReplyDelete

LOL! This is just what I needed this AM! I *loved* them all--it's too hard to choose, ummm, ummm . . . Smugs made me laugh and so did the dog with better driver. ;) Great job this week. Looking forward to your new blogs next week and the big reveal. (and you have not been a slug this week at all!)ReplyDelete
Thanks, D.D. I think Tuesday is going to be fun,and I love getting to give away Briane's book. It sounds like a good one. :)Delete
