Humor is a great way to relieve stress, and inspire creativity. For some reason, cat photos are particularly funny to me. I think they must have more expression muscles than dogs. I'm not able to give credit to whoever assembled the photos below, but I have to assume that, since I received them in an e-mail, they are public domain. I hope you enjoy them, because I picked out the ones that cracked me up the most.
Before I get to the cat pictures, though, I have to share one that reminds me of my children.
And now, the main event!
What are you up to this weekend?
LOL. And I'm not a big cat person. That first bird one reminds me of my older brother when we were younger. I heard that quite a few times.
ReplyDeleteMy children have been being very brotherly lately. :) I think I was the one doing the "I'm not touching you," being the irritating little sister I was!
DeleteThose are very funny!
ReplyDeleteCranky Old Man
Does that mean I finally have given some payback for all the laughs you have given me?
DeleteI like cats :)
ReplyDeleteI do too, but cats don't seem to like me much. I always lose them...
DeleteI really like those Lara! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat's great you're off next week! Fun things planned?
I'm glad you enjoyed them! I only plan to edit, and then take my children to the park and go to Panda Express. For some reason, they really like Panda Express! What are you up to ?
DeleteOMG, I can't stop laughing at the cat locked out in the snow!!!!
ReplyDelete:D
Too cute.
It's a tie for me - cat in the snow or zombie cat. I really like the zombie cat!
DeleteAwesome pictures. Those bird are hilarious!
ReplyDeletenot much for me this weekend. Making plans, painting a room, stuff like that. Most importantly trying to find ways to relax. :)
So is painting relaxing, or something you need to relax from? :)
DeleteLol! That was totally my cat locked outside a few weeks ago. She was so not happy!
ReplyDeletePoor kitty! Did she make you pay? I know cats that I swear had it out for me after such an incident!
DeleteToo funny! I'm a total sucker for cat pictures too! I'm with ya, don't know why they're so funny, but they get me every time! That one with the birds is perfect too! So glad my kids can't flap their arms that fast in each other's faces :) Have a great weekend Lara!
ReplyDeleteI agree - mine do enough damage with slow moving appendages. You have a great weekend too!
DeleteOmigosh! What a crack up. Thanks for sharing. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed them!
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed them!
DeleteLove them! Thanks for the Friday laugh. Especially loved the dizzy kitten.
ReplyDeleteThat poor little kitten! It looks just like Sylvester after Tweety got the upper hand!
DeleteI'm trying to finish my A to Z organization, so I can go all comment crazy on April 1! Then, an Easter Egg hunt.
ReplyDeleteI know that on April 1st I'm going to feel so left out! I wish I could have participated in the A-Z, it looks like it's really fun. Have a wonderful Easter Egg hunt!
DeleteOh, so funny! The line in my house is, "Don't harass the cat!" Now when I ask my children what they're doing, they respond, "Harassing the cat." Even my three-year-old says it.
ReplyDeleteMy poor kitty.
Have fun editing! Your enthusiasm for it is inspiring. I'm not quite as chipper as you are. :)
I think I'm only chipper because I put it off for so long, I've gotten a "must finish!" thing going on! That's funny about your children. We have four dogs, and they got the brunt of my children's attention when they were little. I always worried they might bite them, but they were good, amazingly patient dogs. :)
DeleteLove those kitty photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think I'll share the rest of the photos, non-kitty though, next Friday. They were funny too, but I really laughed at the kitty ones.
DeleteI would love to welcome the new follower over there, but I can't figure out from the pictures who it was. So, welcome to whoever you are, I really, really appreciate your signing up! My Saturday morning has become a little brighter! :)
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are hilarious! I love the Shaking the Box one!! So funny! Humor definitely adds some spice to life and to fiction. Happy editing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cortney~ I'm glad they gave you a little lift today!
DeleteWelcome to Debra! Thanks so much for joining at Motivation for Creation!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as a Feline...Cats DO have more expression muscles than dogs.....
ReplyDeleteJust sayin' is all.
Have a good day! :-D
Good to know - I suspected! :)
DeleteI think cat photos are really funny as well, though I think it's because cat's have an uncanny ability to make anyone feel inconsequential just by staring. So when you get to laugh at them it's a sort of payback... And they have really expressive faces.
ReplyDeleteOur coton de tulear has her moments. She'll be sleeping quietly then suddenly jump up and start biting her haunch or start barking madly at the poor neighbour who's walking in the corridor. Alert dogs...
