Happy Friday to one and all! I am feeling strangely reticent tonight. I can't really think of anything to talk about. So, I guess I'll just move on to the photos!
Last week's winner is:
And here are the new photos!
I really like extra-crunchy tourist. Which is your favorite?
Yup, crunch tourist.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. How many weeks left of school? I'm trying to remember, you work in the schools, don't you? Does that mean summers off?
I have four more weeks (and one day, to make up for a snow day.) I do have summers off. It's quite nice, but this summer I'm going to attend a conference and have some other "school duties" to do, so the summer is going to go fast. I'm also hoping to get the first couple of drafts of Finding Meara done and ready for editing. Keeping my fingers crossed!
DeleteI love "Extra crunchy tourist" too! That dragon one is SCARY! What if he wakes up and wants a snack, a little furry snack??!! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI know! Maybe it doesn't like meat?
DeleteThe bear is cute! lol
ReplyDeleteHe was, wasn't he. :)
DeleteI like extra crunchy tourist and I don't speak mandarin. :) Fun photos, Lara, and I'm with you. I think my creative energy is being drained by about two hundred preschoolers. I sit down to write and can't think of anything but work. YIKES! Happy Mother's Day weekend to you!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it, Nicole! Do you get summers off? 200 preschoolers is an awful lot of energy... I'd need the time to recuperate!
DeleteI forgot to say Happy Mother's Day back - but I can't remember for sure if you have children!
DeleteThanks for the Happy Mother's Day wishes, I do have one son. :) I get summers half-off. Since the schools are closed I don't work full time, but I still do home visits with the a select number of children. I'm looking forward to more time with my kiddo and more time to write!
DeleteThat all always make me laugh--extra Crunchy Tourist and Extra Tuna especially so. :D Happy Mom's day my wonderful friend. <3
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they cracked you up! I liked the Tuna one - something about the cat's facial expression. I don't know...
DeleteExtra Tuna, Crunchy Tourist, and the dragon, in that order. Fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Normandie! It's nice to see you!
DeleteNothing too original here. Crunchy tourist and I don't speak mandarin :)
ReplyDeleteYou find the good ones, Lara! Happy Mom's day!
You too, Melanie!
DeleteWell, I'm always out of step. Extra chewy tourist.
ReplyDeleteI liked that one, too, so you're not too far out of step!
