Well, I lost control with the funny photos this week. I kept finding cute ones, and just kept adding. All total, there are eight photos for your enjoyment.
I also posted early for Susie Lindau's Use Me and Abuse Me Day, where in you post a link to one of your blog posts in the comments. Then you get to go hop around and find other interesting posts and maybe new bloggy friends! You can still play, even if you're reading this on Friday, so go for a little visit and see what you think!
You may (or may not!) have noticed I didn't post on Tuesday. I am less than ninety pages away from finishing editing on Finding Meara, and I didn't want to take the time away from editing to write a blog post. The end is in sight!
I have been gratified at the amount of reads Finding Meara is getting over on Wattpad. When I put the first chapter up, I had nightmare thoughts it would sit there without anyone looking at it. As of tonight, there have been 366 reads, and it ranks #47 on the Adventure list and #118 on the Fantasy list. Of course, it drops each day that passes after the new chapter is released, but I'm still ecstatic that it is doing even this well. If you haven't taken a look, and want to, here is the link. A huge shout out of thanks to all of you who have read and voted and commented. Your company on this process is fantabulous. Thank you.
Have a wonderful Friday and I hope you enjoy the photos!
Freaky cat! I'd be a little worried, if I were the dog. |
It's like a bear skin rug, only in miniature. |
In honor of Valentines Day. |
Like a Pokemon. |
Whatever possessed them to put one on the dog? |
He is so right. |
I don't know which might be my favorite. When Dust Bunnies Evolve made me laugh out loud, so I guess I'll go with it!
Which did you like best?
Waxed floor!
ReplyDeleteConfused Lab with a ??puppy?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to find you on Susie's Wild Ride!
The cat one with the hearts is sweet, but the cat sprawled on the waxed floor is the best!
ReplyDelete90 pages left. You go girl!!! :)
:D Definitely waxed floor!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your last 90 pages, Lara!
The little apple cover got my vote!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for coming to the party. I hope you have fun clicking away. The party will roll through the weekend!
Congrats on your book! I would love to know your process. I have 120 pages left in my 200th rewrite, but haven't done anything else with it....yet.
Thanks for joining the Wild Riders!
Hello! Susie sent me. Great post, love the pix! :-)
ReplyDeleteAll photos cuuute!
ReplyDeleteGotta go with Boramir & Bohemian Rhapsody. :-)
ReplyDeleteGotta go with, 'You waxed the floor again.' Susie sent me!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the new viewers! I'm happy you all enjoyed the pictures. It's such a fun post to put together! And thank you, Christine, for following!
ReplyDeleteAs for all you regulars FFPh Friends - right now it's looking like waxed cat is winning! Thanks for stopping by and the well wishes for getting FM finished! The three day weekend should get me there...maybe. :)
It really is too hard to pick a favorite this week! I love them all. The kittens with all the hearts on them are so cute! I think I'm going to go with the cat sprawled out on the floor cause of the wax job. That was cute!
ReplyDeleteFor cuteness--waxed floor. For lol's--Dust bunnies. Hahahaha! Great photos Lara!
ReplyDeleteWhen you love all the cute critters and lols but have to admit that your favorite is the last one, you are a Game of Thrones/Sean Bean ho. I admit to being both : ).
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Sean Bean is in Game of Thrones! As Boromir, he's wonderful. It breaks my heart every time where he dies. :(
DeleteI think I have to go for the mini dog in the fruit wrapper thingy. Only because my dog recently had to wear 'the cone'. I tried not to laugh at her but I can't help it! haha
ReplyDeleteHave you watched Up? The cone of shame figures quite importantly into a very cute subplot. I love it.
DeleteWaxed floor :)
ReplyDeleteI love PARANORMAL CAT-TIVITY. :-) I'm so glad your FINDING MEARA is doing so well on Watt Patt. LOVE IN THE TIME OF THE UNDEAD is struggling along on Scyrb. But at least some folks are reading about Victor's new adventure in the Carnival of the Damned.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should post on Wattpad. There is a large YA following there and I'm thinking Victor and Alice are right up their alley. Just an idea. :)
DeleteBlogger kicked me off your FRIENDS list, so I showed them. I joined again! :-)
ReplyDeleteRude Blogger! Thanks for joining back up!
