Funny Friday Photos: Cat's Rule the Week

Happy Friday!

Hey, it's (already) Friday somewhere! I hope everyone had a great week.

In any spare time I've had, I've tried to iron out issues with Through the Fairy Ring. I think I have a good plan. I just need to organize how I'm going to make the changes and then I'll be on my way. I'm still shooting to hit that publish button in May, but we'll see how long the changes take me. I applied for a summer job, and if I get it the hours may overlap with my current job. If I'm working two jobs in April and May, that means not much time for writing. I'll do my best to get the book done as soon as I can, but if the release date needs to be pushed back, so be it.

Well, after that downer of a paragraph, I definitely need some funny photos. Blech!

Two of the three of you liked this photo last week!

Cats rule the week. I found a bunch I haven't seen before. They were on Pinterest, so I unless they have an attribution on the picture, I can't tell for sure where they might have come from.

I like the cat with a murder button.

What's your favorite?

  1. I like the murder button cat too. My friend growing up had a cat that had one. We stayed away from her. :)

    1. I have no luck at all with cats. But I do love them!

  2. Oh how funny! Chloe was packing on Wednesday and the cats kept sitting in her suitcases. Made us both a little weepy. I love the murder button cat too. Morgan looks like that a lot. Scares the living daylights out of friends, but I know she'd never harm me.

    1. Awww, poor kitties. And people try to say animals don't have feelings.

  3. Oh, I wanted to say I wish you luck and stamina for that second job. We do what we must these days to pay the bills. :-(

    1. Thank you for visiting! Yes, I just hope I get a second job. My mind keeps wandering into "what if you don't get a job" territory. It won't be horrible, but it would be better to have a job through the summer.

  4. You have summer job that may start in April? That doesn't sound summer-ish to me, but good luck getting it anyway. The road to publication is full of detours. Don't let it bug you; just put out the best book you can in the end.

Love the CatLOLz! All are fabulous, but the loaf one made me lol, so my vote goes there. ;)

    1. Thanks, Lexa! I've been making all kind of emotional adjustments to my mindset about getting the book out there. I wish I hadn't taken so long to get the first draft done, but I guess it is what it is. And now, I have to accept it'll get out there when it's done. And I really want it to be good--not just finished, you know?
