Funny Friday Photos

Happy Friday, everyone!

We got back from vacation on Sunday, I blinked, and here it is Friday already! I hope everyone had a great week.

It was a great vacation. We had a blast at Legoland (it's the cutest place in the world), I got horribly sunburned at the beach because Boy 1 and I spent three hours playing in the waves (we just couldn't get out), and we spent time hiking in the Grand Canyon and in Arches National Park (I liked Arches best, and we'll be returning some day.)

But now it's back to life as usual! Last week's favorite photo was actually a tie between demon cat and melting dog, so if you want to refresh your memory of both, click here. Otherwise, continue on scrolling to this week's funny photos.

I kept thinking the dog reminded me of someone, and then I got to the bottom.

I retweeted this on Twitter, but it's so cute I had to share it here, too.

Every time.

I rarely do this, but just Monday I jerked awake so hard I about bounced Hubby out of bed!

Give me some waffles!

Cue the music...

This dog knows it's fabulous!

And a couple of puns:

More a scary house! Has anyone else seen 'This House Possessed" from the 70's?
It probably had a face like this.

I'm not sure which is my favorite this week. I think maybe the fabulous dog.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has voted or commented over the last several weeks. I'm sorry I haven't been very good at responding. I'm planning on changing that, starting now.

Do you have a favorite? How was your week?

  1. I like the fabulous dog too.

Glad you had a good vacation. Sunburns suck. I haven't had a bad one for a long time but every once in a while get a little one.

    Have a good weekend!

    1. I don't usually sunburn bad, however, this time I used only spf 18, and then never reapplied. For a while, I thought I even sunburned my eyelids! They hurt to the touch. Now I'm just a mess of peeling skin and itches.

I hope you have a great weekend!

  2. I'm sorry, but "Welcome to my aquarium" has to be the funniest thing I've seen on the net, EVER. LOL

You have to admit, it's pretty unique! All I ever see are mammals doing social things. :)

    1. I agree! I love stingrays, and the one in the picture is so cute!! Alot of what makes the pictures funny is the caption, otherwise it's just pictures of cute animals.

  3. Wow, you did a lot on your vacation! Glad you got to go by the Grand Canyon. It truly deserves to be called Awe-Some.

And I love the prancing dog. LOL. They all crack me up every time.

    1. I'd always wanted to see the Grand Canyon, so when we decided to drive to Legoland, it was a natural choice to swing by the Grand Canyon. It was almost too big to really appreciate it's grandeur. What I particularly loved was when we got far enough away to see the top from a distance and the gargantuan crevices that make up the Canyon.

  4. Awesome pics this week! I especially loved the mouse and the aquarium ones! I vote for aquarium ray.

I hope your sunburn is better. Your vacay sounds--and looks--fantastic!!

    1. Thanks! I think aquarium ray is going to win, so it must have been a good choice to include it, even though I'd already shared it on twitter. :)

  5. I loved the photos! Can't wait for my vacation--all of these vacation photos and stories on everyone's blogs are giving me vacation envy. I've always wanted to go to Legoland. My stepdaughter is 14 now, though, so I'm not sure we have an excuse to go anymore!

  6. Most of the rides at Legoland are definitely geared to the younger set, although some of roller coasters were pretty intense! Can you borrow an eight year old for a bit? :)

Have fun on your vacation, when you go!
